Divenne celebre tra Settecento e Ottocento come tappa prediletta del Grand Tour: Goethe, Byron, Keats e Wagner vi trovarono ispirazione, incantati dalla luce, dai profumi e dal paesaggio. Città di sirene e leggende, di limoneti e artigianato, Sorrento conserva ancora oggi il suo fascino intatto.
