The former Seminary of Lipari, located within the fortified citadel, is a significant element of the island’s cultural heritage. Built between the 17th and 18th centuries next to the cathedral and the Norman cloister, it served as a center for clerical education and the transmission of religious culture. The building, arranged around an inner courtyard, overlooks a landscape where memory, faith, and urban life intertwine. Today, it hosts exhibitions and cultural events, contributing to the enhancement of the acropolis’s historical layers and fostering dialogue between religious heritage and contemporary use.
