Descrizione / Description: Eruzione serale tra il 19 e il 20 giugno 1794. Fa parte della fase di eruzioni esplosive ed effusive che caratterizzarono il Vesuvio dal 15 al 24 giugno 1794. Nei 10 giorni di attività si aprirono diverse bocche sul versante Ovest, tra i 300 e i 500 m slm, con danni ingenti alla cittadina di Torre del Greco che subì una modifica sostanziale della propria topografia e della linea di costa a causa dei fiumi di lava che invasero il centro abitato inoltrandosi per un centinaio di metri all’interno del mare / Evening eruption between 19 and 20 June 1794. It is part of the phase of explosive and effusive eruptions that characterised Vesuvius from 15 to 24 June 1794. During the 10 days of activity, several vents opened up on the western slope, between 300 and 500 m a.s.l., causing extensive damage to the town of Torre del Greco, which underwent a substantial change in its topography and coastline due to the rivers of lava that invaded the town centre, penetrating a hundred meters into the sea.
