Descrizione / Description: Serie di gouaches che illustrano il ciclo di eruzioni effusive del Vesuvio dal 19 al 27 ottobre 1767. Le colate di lava colpiscono principalmente le città di Portici e San Giorgio a Cremano. Alla fine del periodo eruttivo il Vesuvio è più alto di prima e si forma una nuova piccola bocca / Series of gouaches illustrating the cycle of effusive eruptions of Vesuvius from 19 to 27 October 1767. The lava flows mainly hit the towns of Portici and San Giorgio a Cremano. At the end of the eruption period, Vesuvius is higher than before and a new small vent inside the crater is formed
